Support For Unplanned Pregnancy
If you or someone you know has just learned of an unplanned pregnancy, there may be feelings of fear, confusion and concern about the future.
Having a baby can be stressful, even in the best of circumstances. An untimely pregnancy affects the individual in every aspect of life.
At MBCH Children and Family Ministries we understand what you are going through. Our Pregnancy Services program can guide and support you as you plan the future for you and your child.
If you have a place to live during your pregnancy, we provide confidential services in your home. We will help you establish a support network in your community while continuing to assist you before and after delivery.

Parenting Skills and Education – Training and educational opportunities include, but are not limited to:
- Safe sleep
- Shaken baby syndrome
- Child abuse and neglect prevention
Fathers are encouraged to participate with the mother as she receives support through the services we offer.
On-Campus Group Living
If you need a place to live during your pregnancy, our Pregnancy Cottages are safe environments to empower you to maintain a healthy pregnancy and deliver a healthy baby. In this safe, nurturing environment, you will receive the skills, support and information necessary to make good decisions for you and your child. You may also apply for you and your child to return to the cottage after delivery.
The Pregnancy Services group living ministry also includes a home in Kansas City operated by The LIGHT House - an affiliate of MBCH Children and Family Ministries.
Think it Through
Our caring professional staff is here to help you think through your options. If you choose to parent, we will help equip and support you as you adjust to parenthood. If you choose to make an adoption plan, we will walk with you through the process and help you make informed decisions for you and your child.
