TFC Information Meeting on Monday, January 12th at 6 pm
Location: Brookline Church of Christ (3086 N Brookline Ave, Brookline, MO 65619)
MBCH is seeking Christian families for this ministry. Being a TFC parent is a full-time job and requires at least one parent to remain at home or for the parent to have a flexible job to accommodate the child’s needs. We are also seeking families who will take TFC children on respite for a weekend to help give TFC homes a break, or in case of an emergency.
Benefits of becoming a TFC family include:
- Additional trauma-informed training
- 24/7 support and crisis intervention
- Support staff in the home weekly
- Help navigating all systems (medical, legal, school, etc.)
- Clear treatment goals for the children in the home
- Additional funding for foster parents
- Agency support for gifts, clothing, furniture, etc.
- TFC Specialists become active members of the Family Support Team and help families develop resources in the community
- Last but not least, you will be able to provide a structured and loving home to a child in need
For more information or to schedule someone to speak at your church, Women’s breakfast, Sanctity of Life day, foster emphasis events, small groups, leadership training, and events, please contact:
