Examples of Volunteer Opportunities:
Outreach Ministry Child Care: The Outreach Ministry is seeking volunteer childcare providers. We are in need of 4 volunteers committed to helping 1-2 time(s) per month on Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:30 pm. Children’s ages range from 1-10 years old.
Boutique Assistants: Be available from 5:30-7:30 pm on Tuesdays to assist staff during “shopping hours” in the Boutique. Volunteers would assist staff during check out of shoppers, and help organize clothing and donations. Weekly or bi-weekly commitment is preferred.
Service Projects: Throughout the year, there are opportunities for yard work, light carpentry, and painting.
Leading a Class: We are seeking individuals to teach life skills to our moms. The commitment level may be weekly, monthly, or as needed depending on the program.
We view our volunteers as an extension of our staff. Because of this, we ask volunteers to go through a process similar to that of new employees. We ask that you complete an application, which includes references, complete a background check, and go through an orientation process.
